Projects & Portfolio

Throughout my time at UT, I have had exposure to many technological tools creating a solid foundation. A few of those tools include R, Tableau, Excel, Access, and SQL.

Below are a few visualizations and analyses I have worked on throughout my Analytics courses.

I am currently working through online courses to further my skills in SQL, HTML, Python, and SAS.

I earned my Google Data Analytics Certification in September 2023.

I earned my Power BI Data Analyst Certification in December 2023.

NPS Score by Date

NPS score is a tool used to measure customer experience. The Air Force medical clinics aim to receive at least a "Great" score, which indicates quality care and increased likelihood for referrals. From the month of January, we can see the inconsistencies regarding patient satisfaction. Why are less than half of our patients happy with their visit? Perhaps a certain doctor is working those days. Maybe the clinic is understaffed too often.

Avg Patient Wait Time

The Air Force clinic also has a goal of a waiting room time of less than 10 minutes. They want to work efficiently and allow their patients to be seen by their physician in a timely manner. How come 65% of days have an average wait time of more than 10 minutes? Maybe the clinic is chronically understaffed. Perhaps the doctors underestimate how long certain appointments will take. Maybe the goal of 10 minutes needs to be re-evaluated to produce better results.

Australian Flights

(Shiny App)

I was given the task of visualizing and analyzing Australian flight data from the year 1981-2012. I utilized R Shiny to create a dashboard that navigates through the different types of analyses and conclusions we can draw from the data. Kroger Shoppers of Knoxville

After aggregating columns and calculating averages in R, we are able to gather information on how the Kroger stores in the Knoxville area are performing. It is apparent that some stores generate more total sales, while others generate more sales per household. Perhaps the stores generating more total sales are located in the wealthier neighborhoods of Knoxville. This information is useful to determine how many and what type of products to distribute at each store.

Donations by Fraternity

Included above are the donation amounts to UT from each Greek organization on campus. Why are some Fraternities pulling higher donation averages than others? Perhaps members from these organizations tend to land higher-paying jobs. Maybe former members of those fraternities have children entering the University soon, or maybe their family lives in the Knoxville area.

Cancelled Flights by State

This visualization makes it easy to see which states and regions tend to have a higher total of cancelled flights within a period. From here, we can dive into possibilites of why this is happening. Could bad weather or natural disasters been impacting planes taking off? Perhaps the airports or airlines are having technical or issues on their aircrafts.
